Miss Irondale’s Teen Ella Birdsong had an incredible showing at the Miss Alabama’s Teen Competition, finishing as 3rd Runner-Up after an impressive weekend of competition held March 6–8 at Thompson High School. Representing Irondale with grace, confidence, and determination, Ella competed in a full slate of categories that tested both performance and poise. Throughout the preliminary rounds she took part in: Private Interview Fitness Evening Gown Talent Onstage Question Ella’s strong performances across all categories earned her a spot in the Top 16, a significant milestone in the competition. From there, the stakes grew even higher as the Top 16 contestants returned to the stage and competed through the phases again in pursuit of a place in the finals. Ella continued to shine under pressure, advancing all the way to the Top 5, where she ultimately finished as 3rd Runner-Up to Miss Alabama’s Teen. Her placement is a remarkable achievement in one of the state’s most competitive teen pageants and reflects the dedication, preparation, and heart she brought to every phase of competition. Ella will continue serving as Miss Irondale’s Teen through November, when she will return to the stage to crown the next titleholder and pass on the role she has represented so well. The entire Irondale community is proud of Ella and the way she represented her city and title on the state stage. Her journey over the weekend showcased not only her talents, but also the confidence and leadership that define her year of service.
